ARE PATRONS ALLOWED TO BRING FOOD INTO THE LIBRARY?  MY FRIENDS AND I LOVE TO EAT PIZZA  AND CHINESE FOOD WHILE STUDYING.  AND WHAT ABOUT DRINKS?  I NEED MY CAFFEINE FIX TO KEEP ME AWAKE WHILE STUDYING?

Dear Cindy Rella,

Wow! You guys are a hungry crowd with great tastes. But you need to realize that the library isn’t a restaurant. Eat your meal outside on good days or in the atrium area in the Main Building on bad days. That being said if you need a quick pick me up there are vending machines in the lobby of the library. I, myself, will hit them for the 3 Musketeer Bars. We, librarians, understand the caffeine fix is essential to long hours studying in the library. So we’re ok with that too.
